First partners revealed
The objective of the Cambridge Venture Camp is to advance creativity and innovation, giving the participating students all the tools necessary for accelerating an idea into an operational business. To maximise the benefits of attending the accelerator program, we have partnered up with some of the most experienced and influential professionals of the startup industry. Here’s a sneak peak of our first three partners to be announced for the Helsinki week in March, but stay tuned – we have a whole bunch of other inspiring experts yet to be revealed!
Kenneth is currently working as the Head of Business Development at Vertical – the company to have put Finland on the map by revolutionising the acceleration of health-tech startups and now redefining how innovation is carried out across a range of industries through collaboration between large and small organisations. In addition to Vertical, he has also been a co-founder of Upgraded (formerly known as HealthSPA), which is the largest organisation for health and wellness sector startups in the Nordic countries.
During the Cambridge Venture Camp our lucky participants will get to meet this passionate and driven business all-rounder, who is happy to share his knowledge of business development with them.
Juha-Matti Santala, more familiarly known as Juhis, is a much appreciated expert in brand hacking, community building and digital solutions. Juhis has a proactive hands-on attitude and a solid background in technology. He’s worked for several startup companies from Silicon Valley to Helsinki, helping startups to get their business off the ground and succeed through technology and community support.
In March Juhis will partner with us and guide our participants in prototyping and building a minimum viable product (MVP). His approaches will challenge the entrepreneurs-to-be to customer-oriented thinking and objective business idea validation.
For more than 20 years the creator of Angry Birds and founder of Slush, has actively participated in building the startup ecosystem we know today and gained extensive experience of innovating, establishing and branding startups and concepts. He has also been named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people on the planet.
During the first intensive week of the Cambridge Venture Camp, our participants will be guided and mentored by Peter himself. Peter is one of our guest speakers during the Helsinki week and he’ll be there to share his experience and tips for our future entrepreneurs.
